Three Trees Presents: “Music for Awo”

The energy of Awo fuels our spiritual community and counselors...Join Three Trees for an evening of “Now Age” music featuring sacred songs of Africa, exotic gypsy melodies of the mid-east, indigenous instruments and the other worldly sounds of “The Halo Drum”.  A rare melodic instrument that must be heard to be believed...  Come celebrate our community and blessed lives in this magical land. Be transported thru the alchemy of music and the spirit of Awo...   Saturday, September 18th, 2010 at 7 pm in the Great Room.  Tickets are $10 and available at Crystal Magic, Golden Word, The Worm (VOC) and Sedona Creative Life Center.

About Three Trees

Three Trees has studied music and art from an early age; while playing bass in various rock bands touring across the US and Peru; the desire for spiritual fulfillment eventually led to a vision quest that gave him his name.  These journeys created a path of personal healing. Practicing Mystic and Shamanic Arts for the last twenty years created a synergy between healing and music.

Three Trees has explored several sound healing techniques from African, North and South American Masters. His intention is to create music that heals by integrating ancient and modern healing sounds that move the audience into a trance of global beat and melody. He uses this integration to create a system of healing that he teaches to large groups in drumming workshops. He works with many organizations including the Chopra Center and Impact Trainings; creating an environment for the participants to explore the joy, healing and timelessness of drumming.

Three Trees resides in Sedona, Arizona where he teaches Shamanic Sound Healing and West African, Middle Eastern and Spirit drumming. Three Trees also makes and plays many instruments including Drums, Didgeridoos & Native American Flutes. Currently, he is apprenticing with acclaimed sculptor John Soderberg; creating a bronze sculpture depicting an African Shamanic healing.
