6:30-7:30 pm, Great Room: “Sacred Partnerships” Art Exhibit and Reception (see below for A Special Call to Artists to exhibit), featuring art rooted in Holy Scripture and spiritual expression.  Hors d’oeuvres and punch served in the Universal Room.

7:30-9 pm, Great Room:  Program “Hidden Treasures in the Earth and Us: Nag Hammadi Revealed”.  Butcher will spotlight the Sacred Scriptures written in the first three centuries, buried at the beginning of the fourth century and discovered in Egypt in 1945.  We will reclaim their wisdom and power for our lives.

the evening will include ritual and music

Saturday, July 18, 9:30 am - 4:00 pm, Great Room

How did Jesus and Mary become chalices of mystery?  How might women and men together be partners in service and reflect this mode of wholeness that empowers us to deal creatively with the fear, chaos and powers that be of our own time.

Includes rituals, sacred dance and vibrant songs from spirit-filled communities in Galilee and Syria.  The day will conclude with a Chalice of Mystery ceremony created by  Butcher to enhance our awareness of mystery by stimulating our imagination, arousing our senses, releasing our emotions and awakening the Spirit. We will be energized to practice mindfulness, live wisdom and compassion, relate freely and openly with all we meet, become catalysts for healing, and work for justice and peace.

Participants will need a journal or notebook.

Lunch is included in the day.
