Conversations in Music - Piano Concert with David Vincent Mills

Pianist David Vincent Mills will be unveiling his uniquely improvised music in his first solo concert. Mills describes his songs as being based on "musical haiku" or short phrases that trigger his improvisational skills. This concert will feature music that extends beyond his extensive knowledge of jazz. Mills taps into alternative musical styles to create pieces that are inspired from being in the moment and connecting with the audience. Come discover what he calls "something of a musical prayer". About David Vincent Mills

David Vincent Mills has performed as a piano soloist, as well as a member of many Jazz, R&B, and Rock bands, in numerous clubs, resorts and weddings throughout California and Arizona. He was the keyboardist for American Idol’s Kimberley Locke, One Love Tour in which he performed in stadiums, concerts halls, clubs and on national television, such as The Ellen Show. David also works as a composer creating soundtracks for several special interest videos, television, jingles for radio and original songs for his independently released CDs. He also teaches private lessons in piano and music theory. David is available for private sessions of his healing music where he connects with an individual's personal song that lays inside of each of us.

Since moving to Sedona, he has performed for the Sedona Jazz on the Rocks Festival, Sedona Film Festival, at numerous clubs, resorts, dinner shows, private parties and upscale restaurants. He is known for his adaptability in musical styles and ability to read his audience. David came to Sedona to connect with nature and deepen his technical and spiritual side of his music. Inspired by his surroundings of the red rocks and the talented, creative friends he has made in Sedona, he has further developed the sound he will be revealing on May 15th.
