These gatherings are informational and experiential programs for anyone with an interest in Reiki. We promote Harmony in the International Reiki Community and strive to unite all Reiki practitioners. In these gatherings we share wisdom with one another, deepen our practice, and together we create harmony in our community. Laurelle Shanti Gaia

I have been practicing Reiki professionally for 15 years and teaching internationally for 12 years. I have authored "The Book On Karuna Reiki - Advanced Healing Energy for our Evolving World", "Be Peace Now - a Course for Peaceweavers", "Infinite Spectrum" and "Sacred Circles". These books and courses help us further understand and develop our subtle energy system, soul level chakras, and how to harmonize with the Earth. Since 1994 I have served as Director of Teacher Licensing for the ICRT, and Editor of Reiki News Magazine.

As a Reiki Master and Karuna Reiki Master, I operate an active Reiki practice and facilitate Reiki training programs in Sedona, and worldwide. I am Licensed and Registered with the International Center for Reiki Training, and am a healer for the California Pacific Medical Center study on distant healing effects on glioblastoma (brain cancer) patients. Reiki has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. It was through Reiki and a magical tropical experience on the Big Island of Hawaii, under the full Wesak moon, that I met my best friend and life partner who shares my passions for health, wellness, peace, and being of service to humanity.

Michael Arthur Baird

I have been practicing Reiki for 15 years, and have found it to be a powerful tool for healing and spiritual growth. I am a retreat facilitator, practitioner of the healing arts, and a middle eastern drummer. I am a Reiki Master and a Karuna Reiki Master. I have developed special drum-making workshops for healers, and created the Reiki Drumming shamanic healing technique. Drumming and Reiki assist me in attuning to my higher self, listening to my Divine guidance, and following my heart. I am a member of the International Center for Reiki Training's Teacher Licensing Program, and affiliated with ISSSEEM.

Reiki

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a multi-faceted spiritual energy that can be used with meditation practices, spiritual growth, healing relationships, manifestation of goals, and activating the Divine Healing Power within you. Reiki is a tool to help you develop "wellness consciousness" and also to understand, on an experiential level, what it means to be compassionate, loving and "One with all Creation". Reiki is considered to be a "hands-on healing technique". This is one application, but it is so much more.

Dr. Mikao Usui rediscovered this healing art in Japan in the early 1900s. The Japanese Kanji characters that represent the word Reiki can be translated to mean Rei = Spiritual consciousness or wisdom of God and Ki = universal life force energy. This method of healing yourself and others uses gentle energy that is infused with Divine love. A Reiki session can bring forth a profound sense of peace and relaxation from within the recipient. Anyone can learn Reiki.
