Born as a nagual in the heart of the Mexican culture, don Luis Molinar incorporates his cultural heritage, traditional Shamanic training, life experiences, and educational background to be a guide of the ancient Toltec Wisdom. The Toltecs were known as men and women of knowledge, and lived a way of life creating art, the art of dreaming love instead of fear.
In 1969, a near-death experience gave don Luis the ground to share the message that "we are much more than our bodies." At that time, don Luis was shot down, while flying a combat helicopter in Viet Nam, and was unconscious for five days. While aboard the hospital ship USS Repose, sailing near the coast of Viet Nam, don Luis was undergoing surgery for his severe injuries when he saw and felt himself leave his body, the operating room, and the ship. As he rose and floated out over the coast, he perceived a bright light to which he was intensely drawn. The closer he got to this light, the more expanded and blissful he felt. As he moved closer to this "portal" he experienced a feeling that he sensed was "kindred souls" welcoming him home to "the other side." Suddenly he experienced being pulled back into his body and he found himself waking up on the hospital ship.
For a period of about ten years after his military career ended, don Luis attempted to forget the experience, which had shown him that he was not just his body. He dedicated himself to his studies, and later, to working in the international aviation field. After losing his business and living his own life driven by the ways of the world, don Luis found himself searching for more. In 1987, at the time of the harmonic convergence, he moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico. That is where he met don Miguel Ruiz.
Upon apprenticing with don Miguel, don Luis would once again have an experience that would demonstrate that he was more than his body. This call to "remembrance of Source" is what deeply connected don Luis to don Miguel and to his ancestral lineage of the Toltecs.
In 1992, don Luis was initiated by don Miguel to carry the ancient teachings of the Toltecs. Since then, he has devoted himself as a spiritual warrior, knowing that to change the dream of the planet, the initial awareness and action starts within. Through Toltec Heart Wisdom, don Luis is committed to supporting the vision of don Miguel Ruiz and the lineage of the Eagle Knight warriors to shift the dream of the planet from fear to love.
Don Luis has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and a Masters in International Management from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management. He has received formal transpersonal teachings from a variety of teachers and healers who include: Don Miguel Angel Ruiz, M.D., Toltec nagual; Derk and Kathleen Loeks, Essential Integration and Healing; Sandra Ingerman, M.A., C.S.C., Soul Energy Retrieval Integration; Rama Berch, Master Yoga teacher training.
Don Luis currently teaches The Toltec Mastery of Awareness, Transformation, and Intent in the United States, Mexico, and Europe.
